Zaladin's Last Stand is a 80s arcade themed twin stick bullethell game. Players take control of Zaladin's ship to defend the earth from an onslaught of alien spaceships. If the player does not destroy the mothership before it reaches earth, all is lost. Different enemies can only be destroyed by specific weapons, so players must switch to the proper one on the fly to defeat each one.
Zaladin's Last Stand was developed by myself, David Foxworthy, Sam Willis, Nate Blair, Akshay Rachapudi, and Zhehui Qian. My personal contributions to the project include all of the menus, the leaderboard system (including arcade style initial input), the intro cinematic, the 80's colorful text effect, and the trailer video above.
